Comments on: Thinking About Postgraduate Studies

I would like to pursue master’s level or even doctoral work in historical apologetics, but I am fearful that my lack of an related undergrad degree may present an obstacle.

I’m a 24 year old Computer Science major with a minor in jazz piano…yup not very related. I also don’t know Latin or German but I’m starting Bill Mounce’s Greek grammar to get a taste of whats to be expected.

What kind of approach should I take in considering further education? My guess is that no good institution will accept me for post-grad work, so I might end up having to go through an undergrad program?

No problem, Chad. And I know it sounds like pressure (I've faced it as well), but the sooner you can pick a direction, the better. Unfortunately, undertaking something this serious and significant is not something we can just kind of fall into if we want. It takes some major planning.
