i wish i saw like this before.
My girlfriend is about to leave me.
i love her so much but i have been so selfish.
even i thought i was not, and tried everything i know to make sure i was not!!! only thing i knew how to do was being selfish.
and i realize that it’s only God who can change me and knowing that we were made in his image, that we may be like him more.
it is very important which standard we are measuring ourselves.

You are soooo right. Even as I read the article I said to myself “me too, I’m a great catch.” But looking to Jesus I know my wife could have done way better. I just glad she kept me.

Yes, I can relate. Keep your eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of your faith. Comparing yourself to others only counts at the olympics. In the real world of relationships we all fall short.
